He doesn't even need to reach for his NV to know which Time Lord it is, but he does it all the same. And there he is just as he remembers him. Frantic. Broken. Urging him to get out of the way as he brought down the Time Lords' last hope of salvation. Their last hope for the end of time.

He even remembers how he (unintentionally or no) saved his life. And that's something he cannot quite forget.
