So that new program for the NV? The ah... Nav-V? It's kinda freakin' me out. I think I might stick with Google. [A genuinely unsettled frown and he lowers his voice a bit like it'll help.] I think my NV is spying on me now... I was just testing it out and it's like it knows me.

Well it said it was like a search engine-slash-computerized personal assistant type thing. So I thought it would be like Google but could somehow also bring me coffee. Turns out it's just... scanning my brain or something. I am not sure what to think of this...

Scans your brain? Human technology is far too inferior for that to even be possible! I mean, seriously, the CG effects in these movies is laughable at best. I doubt they can't animate an accurate man-eating fish and have a program that can read your mind at the same time.

Well, okay I'll give you that some special effects are definitely better than others, so you have something of a point. But how did it know my catchphrase? [Well, it's a variation on a theme, but... still too coincidental!]

Sounds like a perfect match for you.

I guess I of all people can appreciate a little sass; I just wasn't expecting it. I still say it's kinda spooky--it knew my catchphrase!

Well what did you expect! It's SERO-tech. It probably reads your mind and loads up all your memories, so they can decide what kind of junk mail to send you.

[THIS. FACE. FOREVER.]

Now there's a thought I could have lived a long and happy life never having.

I think I am too. And a little unnerved. I think my phone has been spying on me.

Is that supposed to be anything other than weird?

Aside from unsettling and a tad creepy? Honestly probably not, knowing SERO.

[There's a bit of a stifled giggle.]

I thought you were the only one who would say that.

It's been spying on me--this is the only logical conclusion. Can a phone tap itself? [He's only being slightly facetious...]

[And she's just a little more serious now.] I don't think it's possible, even here. If you only just got it now, how could it be spying on you know that much about you?

[Unless of course Axel spends most of this free time just spewing out his catchphrase 24/7.]

[He waves both hands.] Search me, kiddo; your guess is as good as mine. Maybe I should ask it if it knows when my birthday is--that's something it'd have to read my mind to know.

That's... actually pretty creepy. Remind me not to get one, now.

The package said it had voice recognition and all, but I didn't expect it to actually answer me. Like it's got a personality or something. [He looks a little unsure, rubbing the back of his neck.] I'm not certain if I'm fascinated or just kind of spooked.

['Ay aye'? Sure, there were computers where he grew up but nothing this advanced. He sort of shrugs one shoulder.] So far as I knew it was just supposed to be an expanded search engine, really. This part was kind of unexpected.
