Back home, we usually got the decorations up right after Thanksgiving and started shopping for gifts. It's the best way to beat the holiday rush. It was a huge family affair, with gifts and food.

Lights, wreaths, red and green things, a christmas tree, inflatable santas. There are a lot out there.

I spend Christmas with my friends. We'll probably decorate better this year and I've got a little more munny for buying gifts, but... My only real concern is being with them for the holidays.

[He's trying not to think too far back, to holidays celebrated at home. Just sticking to the here and now.]

I don't think they are, that's for sure. Giving someone a gift is kind and all, but showing friends how much they mean to you is what should really count.

[ he's quiet for a few moments, but then pipes up a little more brightly. ]

When th' circus was formed, th' lot of us would spen' Christmas togevver 'tween shows. I used ter try t' make sure all th' littler ones 'ad some trinket or ovver.

I got here just after Christmas, so I wouldn't know exactly, but I did see a fair amount of panicked NV posts.

It was usually a simple affair. [ And there wasn't usually a Christmas where something didn't happen either ] As for here it hadn't yet crossed my mind.
