[There's a rather familiar face greeting those of Siren's Port today. One with rather fly-away (yet rather amazing) hair, a splattering of freckles across his nose, and skin sort of carrot-y thanks to the orange space-suit he'd arrived in.

Oh, and. He doesn't really look pleased to be here, to say the least.]

Like a cursed board game that sucks people through an inter-dimensional portal to a jungle-based world? [.... that actually sounds interesting. Annoying, and a pain to fix up everything that would leak out both ways, but... interesting.] Probably best not to use that analogy too much. Implies there's something to be won...

Which I'm guessing isn't the case, given all the bitterness people have for this place.

[He reaches up and musses up his hair, though, at that question. Obviously annoyed, stressed, a little distracted.] For now, yes. Fine. Fine. The sooner I can leave, though, the better.

Yeahhhh good luck with that. The Jumanji thing had more to do with us all being trapped.

Seems a bit more Gilligan's Island to me. But same basic theory, yes. I guess.

[...Adelaide? Who's Adelaide? There had been no Adelaide on the Crucible, or even in contact with anything that had been going on. At least, not to Rose's awareness. -- He had the important part right, at least. All of reality about to be disintegrated into nothing? Yeah, that was a little important. Much as it put Rose on edge, there hadn't been any sort of .. fallout because of her being here, however. No matter how much Dalek Kan had prophecised she'd be there.

Still. It had been days since she'd seen him, and it had felt like one more cruel twist of fate that they'd been separated again. She should have known it would only be a matter of time until he came too.]

S'about time you showed up. [And he'd better still be at the baseball diamond, or roundabouts, because she's already on her way.]

[That voice.

That. Voice.

There's no way she's here. No way in seven suns that she's really here, in this strange world. In Canada of all places. She's safe at home, in that other world. With her mum and dad, with the Doctor he'd left in her care, so at least one of them could have a life to live. A normal, human life. A life where there were no four knocks, no Bowie Base One. No living forever with the guilt of knowing exactly what he keeps doing to his companions.]

.... Rose? [To make sure. To make sure his mind isn't playing the cruelest trick on him.]

It's me.

[And just to prove it, she's switching off her default and flicking on the video feature, peering out in all her pink and yellow visage.]

You still at th'diamond? [Since she's already on her way, judging from the moving scenery behind her.]

B- But you- Th- [Please excuse him as he sputters a bit, hands reaching up both press against his head and pull at his hair. A classic freak out tactic of his. Complete with full body fidgeting, bending his knees and just... well.

There's really no word for it other than freaking out a bit.] Wh- Where-? [And then, he remembers. What people have been telling him so far. Time. Time is strange here. People can be pulled from different points in time. He could be from before her, after her. Although given how she's reacting, how calmly, how professionally... he has an inkling.] When-? ..... What?!

[She looks bored.]

It's an interdimensional pocket dimension that pulls people from different times and places. Sometimes, it pulls them from different times within their own universes. Basically, it has absolutely no respect for time, place, or the time stream.

Oh brilliant! [You, Jubilee, are the proud winner of his very pleased fanboy face] Finally someone with a straight answer! Absolutely brilliant! .... Well, moderately brilliant. Already figured out that pocket dimension thing, bu-

... Sorry. Did you say interdimensional?

[She loves when people listen to her.]

Yep. See, it just randomly grabs people outta their universes and drops them here. Like, I'm from a universe, but the guy I'm seeing is from a different one, and then there's Emma who's behind me in the time stream but from the same universe, and well, I'm sure you get the picture.

[She finally looks at the screen.]

I'm Jubilee, by the way. To illustrate the point: Were there mutants in your universe? There are in mine.

[He really does like kids, believe it or not. And Jubilee has definitely earned some points on the useful answers front.]

Pulled... well, that would make more sense than just flipping through by accident. Any idea why it chooses who it does? Or if it even has some sort of order to it?

[And then, she's getting a bright smile] Jubilee, hello! I'm The Doctor. And it really depends on what you mean by mutants.

[It's not like Asch has been stalking around the baseball field since newcomers started showing up. It's not like he's expecting anyone from his world to show up; he actually prefer them not too, considering they'd just make thing more complicated.]

[On that note, he's seen a lot of strange people wander out of the field, but this guy takes the cake.]

Tch... you're the most annoying to show up yet.

[...and he's been extra bitchy lately. Forgive him, but his coworkers pointing at him and going, "Look, Abyss Silver has arrived!" has been grating on his already frayed nerves.]

[Moving about in a big, puffy space suit is actually a lot harder than one would think. Which is why, at that snarky little comment, the Doctor can't really do much more than waddle a bit as he turns around, doing his best to try to pass it off as a sort of strut.

Really, the suit is just heavy... and hangs rather awkwardly, all things considered. He knew he should have went with something simpler, but come on. Orange suit on the red planet? Oh he had to.]

Asking questions is considered annoying, now? Ahhh you should probably learn to relax a bit more. You'll take years off your life, scowling like that.

[Asch turned and watched the idiot fumbling about, wondering how long it would take before he got a clue and took that ridiculous thing off.]

I always look like this. It hasn't bothered me yet.

[Hey now! Not an idiot!

... The spacesuit is just a pain to get out of is all.]

Really? Well... would explain the bits of crow feet on the edges there... and are those bags under your eyes?

[He's just being a brat, please ignore him.]

[oh, her Doctor. younger, but still. he's the same man he's always been, really, and she waves into her NV at him, a sad smile on her face]

Are you really that far along all ready? Well, no matter. Good-bye, Doctor. It's been some time.

[And his dear TARDIS! Not that he knows it yet. Isn't even really getting the slightest nagging feeling about it, either.

Then again, his mind is a bit preoccupied. Pre-pull nausea and aches and pains from the hasty landing. As well as, you know, being in another world all of a sudden.]

... Sorry, "Good-bye"? Are you going somewhere? [A pause, and he can't help a small smile. Clearly, if she knows him, its another incident like with Sally Sparrow, River Song. Meeting people out of order. After they've met him. But, no use in just coming out and saying that. Not right off the bat, at least.] Not as long as you might think.

Oh, I'm always messing up the tenses. It's still much too strange to be moving in linear time. I don't know how other species do it; it's terribly dull.

[stands up straighter, smiling a little wider, a little happier] Hello, Doctor. I don't think I'll ever tire of saying that. 'Hello.' Especially to you. Talking with you will always be the one thing I cherish most of all. Not that we don't talk now -- or then -- yes then. When you are. Together. [waves her hand] But it isn't the same as this.

....... Riiiiiiight.... well. I suppose it is a bit boring. Nearly went insane a few hundred years back. Trapped on Earth... Not as much fun as I would have thought.

[He blinks, though, obviously more than a little confused with all of this] Yes, of course, hello. [And then he's just, scrunching up his nose and shaking his head.] Sorry, just. What? We haven't talked at all, I'm afraid. Not.. at the right point in time streams, probably.
