[Few minutes:
He's out of the bedroom.
Few more minutes:
He's slouched against the wall, right next to the bathroom door. Moments pass, then he's sitting. Knees close. This is default sitting posture for these two children.
A bit longer, probably well into ten minutes or more:
He's knocking, quiet and unsure and timid on the door.]

I... probably. [She does sound sad about it.] I wouldn't want it to, but... I'm needed over there. I don't know who would ru-- do what I have to do if I wasn't there... and my family line has to continue. Our fate is tied to Hyrule like its fate is tied to us.

You know, I think if your resolve is strong then it's not as if the genie would die in vain. In a strange way, it would be granting its own wish by giving you what you wanted. Don't you think so?

It might... if it wanted to do that, then I guess it's... okay... I'd feel very bad about it, though.
[Quiet sigh.] Someone... Someone has already sacrificed themself to save me, and I don't want anyone else to, I really don't, but... Hyrule has to come first, to everything else. They're my people. [She huffs a quiet, sad little laugh.] That's the curse of royalty. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the good of your country, and... it stinks.

and the bathroom door slamming?
Not even the couch is an acceptable bed tonight.]

Tiny, tiny sigh at all that ruckus, but he's going to leave him alone for now. There isn't anything he could say to 'make it better', anyway, right?]

...Yeah, no, expect the occasional irritating rattling from the bathroom. He's five and he's throwing a passive aggressive tantrum. That's all.]
