[ Leaves rustling in the wake of a warming breeze, an unusual sight may greet Adam and Dog. It's a lion, larger and than any other, his mane like shimmering gold.

There is gravity to his step and mirthfulness in his eyes.

[ naturally, at first dog growls-- because first and foremost, this is a giant cat, and dog is a dog. (a hellhound, in fact, though he obviously forgets that most of the time.)

adam ducks down across the branch, peering down through the leaves, and blinks at the sight. ]

[ he knows who (or rather, what) this lion is, so after a moment, he shimmies down the trunk. ]
