[Asch is bored. Asch is very bored. Outer Heaven is... well, pretty empty, now that Liquid and everyone else seems to have either died or vanish without a trace. He'll never admit to the fact that he actually misses all the people that used to be around, but... damn if it doesn't bug him just a little bit ( Read more... )

Sure, an occasional cloudy day or somethin'. Hell, maybe even a rainstorm every once in a blue moon.

[The faint hiss and pop of food cooking on a range can just barely be heard in the background.]

Does it matter? I always enjoy getting to see such a lovely display. We don't have seasons in my world.

How can a whole world not have any seasons?

...it was a very frigid place. Though! [A quick, easy smile.] We did have times when ice-storms were more prevalent and others where blizzards were worse than usual, so I suppose that can count as our seasons.

That doesn't even sound like a place anyone could live on.

[He almost said that didn't make much sense, but neither does a planet where the crust is raised above the land by giant glowing trees. So... yeah.]

I don't know. I quite like the sudden appearance of THE RICH COLORS OF FALL.

Uh... right.

[What was with the dramatics?]

But isn't it too early?

In a northern climate such as this, it's quite natural for the days to grow colder at the beginning of October.

I suppose so, but even this far north, it doesn't seem normal.

[Do you think he cares?]

It's different from what's normal for me.

Oh? Was it different for you back home?

Yeah. The summer months lasted a lot longer.

[Voice] boundbytreason October 13 2011, 05:44:36 UTC
I see. Well, it works differently here in Canada. The seasons are dictated by the spring equinox, the summer solstice, autumnal equinox, and the winter solstice respectively. An equinox is defined by the tilt of Earth's axis being inclined towards or away from the sun and a solstice is the sun's position itself ( ... )

[Asch twitched as he listened, feeling like he was being talked to like he was a two year old. Somehow, he managed to keep himself from exploding until she was finished with her speach.]

How stupid do you think I am?! Worlds are not that different from each other!
