[Genesis flips on the video feed. Unlike his previous appearances, he looks a little mussed up and somewhere between irritation and restlessness. When he talks, his speech his snappy, almost as if he was ranting. He isn't in much mood to do anything else.]So, what do you think of the adult entertainment industry? Disgusting? Distasteful? [Someone observant might notice he's wearing short sleeves and no gloves and looks quite pleased with himself. He's also cooking.]

I always thought it weren't a great job, but if'n there weren't a market fer it, people wouldn't do it, now would they? If'n a friend were in it, I wouldn't approve, but if'n they were in it of their own volition, an' weren't bein' coerced? Ain't much I c'n say.

Hm.

[It doesn't shoo away Genesis' irritation, but he does notice how Kevin isn't all bundled up anymore.]

... you aren't as bundled up as you usually are.

Huh?

[A blink and then he shrugs.]

You seem more confident under the void.

The "adult entertainment industry" covers a wide area, and my reactions would depend on the friend, the part of the adult entertainment industry, and the circumstances. A naturally monogamous woman who is a prostitute because she's a slave and that's what her owner decided is a totally different case from a naturally exhibitionist woman who is a stripper because she wants to do it.

Then let's assume that the person entered the industry out of their own volition.

Well - "their own volition" is such a murky phrase when one doesn't know the circumstances. A 19-year-old with a high sex drive living with absent parents who goes around their back to work for a sex club to get pocket money and a 19-year-old griefstricken widow(er) with infant triplets who has no other way to earn enough to support them are both working for the sex club of "their own volition."

Assuming we're talking something closer to the former case, that still leaves which part of the industry and whether the person is emotionally suited for the job they're working in. Some people are emotionally suited for being sex workers without harming their self-worth. Others are not. And it depends on the specific profession - more people are emotionally suited to display their body for money than to have sex for money, for example.

[Cue eye-rolling.]

I'm not in any mood to talk about all these details. Would you accept that your friend likes to strip for a living or not?

Get them out.

[Because Yazoo's experience in it was forced, so he assumes the same of everyone else.]

Mm... [Genesis understands your point of view, brother. But aside from that...]

But what if they entered the industry on their own?

Why would they do that? It's foolish.

[There is no meaning of non-bais when it comes to him.]

Perhaps it is simply a wish for a new experience.

[He's hoping that the remnant won't irk him as much as the original.]

I don't really care, all that much.

[He laughs.] Good to know that there's someone who doesn't pay it much mind.

Sex in general, I find to be of no real interest. I don't get the big deal.

Hm. I can't say I'm surprised. [He knows people who don't treat it as such a big deal. Sex isn't very big to him either-- but excitement is.]

I don't see the big deal about sex either.

I imagine I'd not complain overmuch. Who am I to decide a person's choice of employment, after all?

Would you complain if you had the chance to? [He laughs]

It would depend on the situation at hand.
