[The second the video flipped on, the first thing that was viewed were the kittens who resided within the Cat Nursery within the Phancyhive house... along with a hand playing with a specific cat's paw (for those who have seen Elliot with a single kitten in the last, this was his own cat. Is that supposed to be a joke?! [not best friends.]

It isn't a joke! Of course that's what they eat. It's what I've read, at least.

[Here is Franz, with his white-gold glow, sitting in his office.] ...I don't think any of those people have any more of an explanation than you might. They probably find it just as confusing.

[Franz certainly does.]

But all that we can know is what we have evidence of already - and that is that all of us are here, together, and must make our way. I suppose it's just easier to be trapped here if you haven't anything to return to.

But as we stay here, the people who are able to go home will. Wouldn't it just continue to leave us more alone if such a thing happens?

I can't decide if it's better or not now. Being stuck here if we're meant to be.

I'm not so selfish I'd want them to stop living their lives in favor of keeping me company.

Besides, a lot of people here are dead, or would prefer to remain here. We wouldn't be alone.

You're right. That would be selfish.

We just have to keep each other company for as long as we can.

I don't know, Elliot.

People who have nothing to go back to...might not exist at all if they disappear, I think. It might be for good.

But if this is a second shot at having a life? I'm going to take it all the way right here. Have friends, and do all the things I've ever wanted.

..You have a point. If this is what we have left, we shouldn't just sit and dwell on it.

That's right! So get up and do what you want to do-

You saw Sora's post to the network a few weeks ago, right? About Bucket Lists?

I don't recall reading anything about a Bucket List. Can you enlighten me?

Something that is half-human, half-fish might be omnivorous. Raw kelp and fresh fish, one would think?

[The first question gives him longer pause, thoughtful.

When Death is analogous to Return. He wonders how many others are in a position like his own. Franz, Raul Creed, more recently Miss Fey and others who have posed similar questions before.]

What we have is have the sum of our being here, now. All we lay down here, could be a different legacy than the one left behind.

[A tired sigh.]

Maybe that's why I'm so hard-pressed to be productive, with my time.

Probably. I guess I'll settle with getting fish then.

[He listened to the words after, taking his time to respond. A sigh.]

That makes sense-- do what you can while you're here. I want to try to do the same. The question just doesn't stop ringing through my head.

Death and endings- [His sigh is echoed] People feel a disconnect to them, knowing them only as a far off reality, until they come into the realization that it waits for you inevitably.

Once you acknowledge that as a future truth, there's no going back.

[ tiny duke is linefacing at you, elliot, arms crossed and expression somewhere between "you're an idiot" and "do you need me to find someone to give you a hug?". ]

Stop wondering useless things, Elliot. You're here, right? [ his brows draw together, a distressed note worming its way into his usual practicality. ] Isn't that enough? You're here and you're okay.

[lineface all you want, pal. He'll stare right back though.]

It isn't useless--! [But a pause. Elliot, remember who you're talking to. Remember the things that had happened..]

It's something I can't help but thing. Alright? [I'm sorry.] I know I'm here, but I don't know for how long. Regardless...
