[For anyone around before the video kicks in... when she appeared, pulled back into port and living again, she crashed with a loud startled cry, NV oddly in hand. Sitting up her hands flew to her head, NV dropping a few feet away, skittering to a stop, flipped open and ON...]
Why?!
[A hard gasp was heard on the NV first, the video picking up only

...You're-
Are you okay? What happened? Do you remember?

It sounded awful in the news, and I didn't go down to see.
What- who did it to you, do you know?

[She told all this to the police already, but it would be good to keep it out there for everyone to hear, right?]
He said his name was Sylar. He showed up at the field while I was out there but... oh Joe, do be careful out there. He's... he's clearly insane. [Insane enough to actually post to her, publicly...]

Dark hair, cut short. Light complexion. Tall, maybe six foot? Dark eyes, very dark eyes... thick brows. He wasn't dressed strange at all for the times. I... don't know if this helps at all. He said his name was Sylar.
Who are you?

A concerned detective.

If some audio helps any, he contacted me on NV. Publicly no less. I can't seem to get a trace on it but I'm not the best with computers.

I-I didn't.. I didn't believe them when they said you could really come back.

I see you. [was the first thing she had said, not meaning that to be THE first thing, but it came out. She rubbed at her nose a moment and nodded sadly]
I almost didn't believe it myself. Never thought I would, with my luck. Seems the Core isn't done with me though. I-I'm sorry if I worried you, Will.

Sorry--[No, not about that.] No, I'm sorry. I should be and every last person who could have been out there that night.
[After witnessing countless scenes of wrongful death and murder, he was used to letting go of the people he sought justice for. His hand was trembling slightly, it was like talking to one of those victims, only now it was real and not just something conjured by his freakish mind.]
Does it hurt? ...Are you still hurt?

You have no reason to apologize. None of you do. If it wasn't me it would have been someone else. [she frowned, softly. No masks to hide her true personality today.] I'm glad it was me and not a local. [at least she had the chance to come back...]
A little. [a finger traced her clean forehead, rubbing it for a moment, as if she could almost feel it open again] Mostly just a bad headache now. Otherwise I'm alright for now. Not hurt.

If there was anything to be learned from this it would be that he had to be very selective in who he tangled with here.]
They....[murdered] hurt you.
[A fact, not an observation.]
You should be in the hospital.

I-I don't think I need a hospital. [she didn't want to go to a hospital even if she needed it] Other then a headache I'm fine. I think that's just how these things happen.

[Maybe not in the traditional sense, either, he can tell.]
I warned you about the monsters, Mademoiselle. [Monsters like me.] Though it appears this..man [he says a little distastefully] is your monster, in this instance.
[Someone was bound to have taken advantage of that pretty girl. He'd been near the baseball diamond alone with her..Had she not realized how easily he could've hurt her? But he, unlike this other breed of monster, was...far more cordial to young ladies. At least to those who were cordial to him,
also.]
Do you need a protector, or a place to stay?
[He had hoped the installation of a secondary presence would've prevented this. Plus, she was going to be an accessory to his getting into SPU and SPGH as an intern/medical student. Himawari was hardly worth anything dead. Let's just say he may have taken an interest in her, if only because whatever fascinates Will Graham fascinates him. It's a fortunate thing, in this case.]I mean no disrespect my lady, but that is almost rather foolish and naive of you ( ... )

Others have warned me about monsters as well. It wasn't like I wasn't careful. There was more to it then that.
[Ah, but the protectors and bodyguards and safe houses were all coming out of the wood work today.]
I think I have a few bodyguards now, and my place is safe. I don't think I need to worry about the monster coming back anytime soon. He already knows I returned. There's no point in trying it again. [or so she felt, especially after he spoke to her so open on ( ... )
