Well, I s'pose not everyone gets on with their fam'ly, either. Makes sense if someone in their fam'ly's a bad guy or somethin'. Like a super-villain. Unless it's a whole fam'ly of super-villains.

[ dog pads over.. shoves his nose in the screen. adam laughs, a hand pushing the nv out of the way and then lifting it, wiping the wet-dog-nose off the screen. ]

[ Elaine feels him gone the moment it happens. She feels this realm shake a little lighter without his presence.

She's glad for him for he's going to the freedom he has always fought so hard to claim. But at the same time, she feels the loss twice over eating her inside.

She has no right to mourn for her uncle. Yet she can't help but doing it. ]
