12th Letter; voice

[It is a young man's voice, cultured and even, educated with a European lilt.] A year ago today I arrived in the baseball diamond, full of all the confusion and apprehension that we all experience when first in Siren's Port. I think it feels longer because you had to adjust into a new lifestyle. Once the novelty wears off, it'll go back to routine.

Considering my routine seems to include disappearances of beloved friends, being aged down, having my emotions manipulated by airborne toxins - I don't know if such a term is really accurate.

There is a certain rhythm to this place, but it's certainly less predictable than is easy to get used to.
