[Yes, he'd been ignoring Blaine for days. Yes, he wasn't planning on responding to that text message. But he has been checking it periodically for some reason, as if expecting it to change or something.

When he sees this, however, he responds immediately.]

Blaine Anderson, you explain to me why the hell you are black and purple right this instant.

[Excuse Blaine while he drops his NV and has to pick it up again.]

I promise it's actually a funny story.

[He rolls his eyes.] So another girl got starry-eyed at you and her boyfriend didn't want to admit it. Sounds fairly typical.

[Blaine's smile, which was admittedly pretty wary and a little fake, fades a bit and he just looks at the image of Kurt on his NV]

I don't usually deal with people wanting to hit me for singing.

[Blaine is quiet for a moment] Okay.

No, of course not. [He smiles a bit, but it's that uncertain smile that Blaine so rarely shows to anyone who isn't Kurt] I'll be over in a bit.

[Blaine is pretty much going to go over there right away because he doesn't want Kurt to change his mind.]

[And Kurt welcomes him inside when he arrives, his attitude very business-like. It's carefully masking how nervous and vulnerable he feels inside.]

[Blaine is quiet and trying to hold together his own emotions ans he moves to sit down on the couch.]
