What started off as one or two accounts of crying children at a local burger joint in Sector Four has turned into multiple reports of children having been purchased Happy Meals by their parents, only to have them snatched away the moment they take their eyes off their Happy Meal.
'It just disappeared! Right into thin air! Just like that!' Mary Ludstone remarked on the theft of her five year old daughter's stolen meal. 'It's ridiculous. Who steals a Happy Meal from a child? It's like the Hamburglar is real or something. If this is some kind of joke or promotion, it isn't funny. It's twisted.' Other upset customers have come forward with their complaints about the disappearing food. The managers of the burger chain that have been affected have apologetically told parents there is nothing they can do and for them to not take their eyes off their purchased meals. Even so, the elusive 'Hamburglar' is being investigated.

To promote literacy among newcomers, a representative from the city’s main branch library in Sector 3 is offering vouchers for a free sandwich with tea or coffee at library’s courtyard cafe when you pick up your card and take out your first five books or media materials. Newcomers are also encouraged to please return any overdue loaned books that any of their mysteriously vanishing fellows may have left behind. Pamphlets with perforated sign-up forms, along with a calendar of upcoming events, workshops and library programs, will be available in the Tower Apartments Lobby.
