I've spoken about that possibility extensively already with Rochelle, the risk of introducing a pathogen which could trigger a serious outbreak island wide.

In that vein, it was a bit wiser, when SERO had control the diamond, and screened newcomers immediately upon their arrival.

That's what we did with the immigrants from Mosque. Why they were kept quarantined in the outer districts, until passing the basic health examinations.

SERO could easily use the information for their own gain, anyway. It's not something I would have wanted for them to use against anyone...though their presence could have been helpful.

I'd station someone from the clinic at the diamond, but we just don't have the staffing for that. We might be able to convince the greeters to have most newcomers proceed directly to the clinic.
