Because when people go home they forget everything about being on this island! At least, most people.

[A beat, and then a little guiltily:]

[Sora shakes his head.]

Come on Ahiru, quit joking around. How could I?

No way I'd forget all my friends here- not after all we've been through.

[She could say something about how it happened to her both times, but whatever she doesn't want to be a Debbie Downer!!]

Yeah, you're probably right. It's just something people say, but they've gotta be wrong!

I think both lists would have a lot on them, though.

[Too bad, that's precisely why his face lights up. He remembers their last conversation.]

Hey... you went back pretty recently, didn't you? To your world?

But hey, tell me more about that flying carpet thing! Do you think they have stuff like that here?

[He blinks, the abrupt change in subject has him a step behind.]

Um. The carpet. Well... it's possible! Since everybody has powers and crazier things have happened. I mean, I even have a chest that likes to walk around my apartment and protect my stuff if someone tries to steal it.

[But he's still thinking about that. And it's pretty clear he still wants to ask.]

[Clearly this just means she has to find different things to talk about forever.]

Wow! Does the chest talk, too? What other kind of stuff like that did you have back home, Sora?

Uh, talk? Um. No it doesn't. And the stuff back home, well... lots, I guess. Like genies and magic lamps and stuff. Is that what you mean?

[He shakes his head. The question persists! And in fact, he looks like he's about to open his mouth and say something too.]

[NOT ALLOWED TO ASK ANYTHING, SORA.]

Wow, genies? The kind that grant three wishes? Did you meet one? Did you wish for anything? Did any of your friends wish for anything? Was it a nice genie?

Y-yeah. Three wishes. That's... I mean. I didn't really use. The wishes- I could've asked him for... Aladdin.
