[Hello network, it's Ciel. Perhaps you've seen him before or perhaps you had the delightful view of him stumbling out of a suitcase rather dazed and upset, if you'd attended Undertaker's tea party. Never the less, he seems calm and contained as he sits in a rather large seat in the parlor of his manor, tiny legs dangling over the edge. What he has ( Read more... )

Siren's Port may be unconventional to someone like me, but unconventional doesn't immediately equate to bad. Yes, the Darkness and attitude of the companies may be anything but desirable, but many things are an improvement in my opinion.

By far the twenty first century. There's no competition for that.

[Finny is dusting nearby, perking up when servants are mentioned.]

... young master, a nice girl on the network asked me if I ever get a vacation.

Yeah! I told her we got to go with you on vacation sometimes. But she asked if I ever got to go by myself.

This General Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington seems like he was an interesting man. It certainly is not usual to allow your opponent such courtesies, but I do not believe it is incorrect to do so. If you take away too much from one land you create an imbalance which will naturally seek to correct itself.

[He pauses for a moment]

Ah, my apologies. My name is Iroh, it is nice to meet you.

Actually, the Duke of Wellington was against the Convention of Cintra - it was other men who superseded him that led to its existence in the first place. While I don't entirely agree with the decision, I do think escorting your enemy home is one way of shaming them quite well. They shouldn't have allowed them to return with their spoils however. A move like that was just completely idiotic.

A pleasure, Iroh. I'm Earl Ciel Phantomhive.

Lord Phantomhive. [He bows giving him the proper respect, at least the amount given to nobles in the Fire Nation]

It would be shaming to be escorted back by those you called enemies, though it is better to be shamed then killed. If you were given a choice in the matter, what would you have done with the spoils?

Taken them back to Britain, in Her Majesty's name.

A suitcase?

[Bad memories.] Why in the world would be concerned about such a foolish possibility?

[It's about then that a sugar glider - well, glides, and lands right atop the chessboard. Pieces scatter, of course. What, was this thing just laying in wait or something?]
