[Duo looks a bit frazzled, and though not nearly as freaked out as he was when the quake happened. He's also sporting a poorly made bandage on his upper right arm that blood has already soaked through. A fairly nasty injury, for how mild the quake was.]

H-hey, man... if you find anyone lookin' for a place to wait out the sirens tonight, Wayside Inn still got power and room.

Yeah... [rubs his shoulder above the bandage, wincing] I came in early to finish up some work when the whole damn city started shakin'... my tool box came down and clipped me hard.

[glances at it after taking his hand away, noticing he's got blood on his fingers]

... aaand I'm still bleedin'. Great.

You need medical attention for that. I can fetch you to the clinic in a few minutes if you like?

Guess I pro'ly need stitches or something...

[looking over her shoulder for a few seconds, like he's worried about leaving the place.]

... yeah, if you don't mind. I'm no good to anyone if I can't use my arm.

[There's no answer, just a knock about twenty seconds later.]

Gu--!

[don't mind Duo, he's just a little jumpy after the quake. He answers the door, hand over his arm.]

It's just me.

[Who else would it be in this costume? He motions outside.]

Come on, we don't want to let too much Darkness in.

Y-yeah, I know...

[he slips closes the door part way, slipping out the space left before closing it all the way. His hands are still shaking a little, and stained from the wound, but he isn't freaking out completely. Just a little shaken and probably not feeling too well given his injury.]

[He takes a moment to look Duo over after he's out in the street, raising his hand toward the boy's shoulder warily. He's studying the wound carefully.]

Alright. Let's go easy.

[He wouldn't. When they started moving it would take less than a fraction of a second--the time it took him to blink.]

[It's kind of hard to see given the stained sleeve of his shirt and the poor bandage that's over it, but what can be seen is noticeably deep. The length is from a couple of inches above the elbow to just a few inches below the shoulder. He really should have had it looked at sooner, but he was busy ushering people in to Wayside before the sirens.]

[He smiles, and the world blinks out of focus, changing into Skye Medical center in an instant. There are monsters outside, drawn in by the constant deliveries of the injured.

If something happens, try not to get separated from me.
