I like to believe that I am nothing if not understanding.

The fact you've an open mind about something usually viewed as so final supports as much~

There is little in the world that is as definite as it seems-- including death.

Be that as it may, I doubt most will take well to the idea of people as 'raw materials'.

Do you, then?

I've no intent to build with what might come out of death.

Do you not see any use for them?

Darwin's kids book says that having your soul trapped out in the darkness is probably a million times worse than just dying normally.

...which I guess I believe, if you're just dead when you're dead.

Murder's still a big deal though, even if the SPPD doesn't take all of them seriously.

What else do you believe happens when a being dies?

[ Zeroing in on one idea. ]

I-

...I don't know. It depends if they really actually... die or not.

What else would happen?

Because it ain't a guaranteed thin'. And o' course there's thin's worse than death, don't be stupid. There's loads o' thin's worth than death. What's it to you?

Nothing more than curiosity.

cowboy_newsie August 11 2011, 04:23:18 UTC
Yeah, right. Curiosity is wonderin' why it thunders. Curiosity ain't wonderin' about whether murder is a crime.

They are both issues to wonder about, to someone.

The 'raw materials' are still people.

Does that somehow change things?

The experience of dying still stays with you. Just because they return to life doesn't lessen what happened.

To damage someone emotionally is not necessarily a crime.
