For those that have purchase property whilst being here I'd like to ask a few questions, mainly with what ease you found it and who you went through to come by it

[Someone has just rolled out of bed, and looks like it. She's got a cup of coffee cradled in her hands and hair that is a bit bedraggled.]
We found our place near the border of sectors four and nine, out of luck. The old guy who owned the place was running a rundown apartment complex that pretty much no one lived in. I talked to him and he agreed to sell it to us, as long as he got to stay in his little detached place. He's still back there, and I go help him with things every once in a while, and beefed up his Darkness proofing.
The Newcomer fund actually helped us a tiny bit, but mostly it was Michael and I, since we spend very, very little and could do most of the work ourselves. Not the first time we've rebuilt a place to live.
Dunno. I mean, it's sector nine, which isn't as bad as sector ten, but still, people are pretty crammed into places that have decent Darkness Proofing. [A sip of the coffee. She'll apologize later to people who have to smell it: Logan coffee is an acquired tasted.]
Plus, it depends on how big you want it. We needed a pretty big place, so our options were more limited than, say, a person who needs one bedroom, and a basement.
I'm Michael Xavier, by the way - I think I've ran into you at the clinic a few times - If you want someone to look over the structure of any property you'd like, I'll help. I know one of the building inspectors as well.
[The voice on this end is a young man, calm, thoughtful.] I am afraid I am also new to this area and do not know the complexities of local real estate.
There's a Newcomer caseworker who may be able to help you find what you're looking for, Miss. Her name is Re-l Mayer, and she is also a police officer. I believe her NV contact is...
[Trying to find it. She's a rather dependable sort.]

Depends on the kind of research you plan of doing - SERO likes to get involved with these things.

But Sector Nine is probably your best bet.

I'll keep that in mind, thank you.
