[ when the video clicks on, leo's small form is curled sideways in an armchair. there's a book on his lap and several stacked around him. though he seems to be working his way through a novel, several of the others are books on modern medicine, religion, philosophy-- and oddly enough, if you look closely enough, you might note one on mythical

[Yes, Break is aware that he's sang this very song over the network before. Only you were not present last time. Perhaps you'll not recognize his voice.]
Your house is on fire, and your children? all gone~

Why, Mister Break! [ most of him just hates this man for what he'd done to get elliot killed. but at the same time-- ] Mister Liam did say that you were here, but I was beginning to wonder.

Oh did he now? how rude, I should be able to introduce myself now shouldn't I~?
[he's as sweet as the candy he's licking, isn't he.]
Been enjoying yourself so far?

If you'd intended to do so, you shouldn't have been so tardy, Mister Break.
[ a brief, thoughtful hum. ]
--Well, as much as I might, I suppose, considering that I've been dragged out of my home and away from my family.

...Baskerville, huh? You don't happen to have a hound, do you?

Some people would question that. I have moments where things don't seem to make sense, either-- too many centuries' worth of memories all crowding in at once, I think.
[ the second question earns a slightly puzzled glance. ] No, I'm afraid not. Lily has a hound-like Chain, though.

...Though-- centuries? Are you another one of those immortal types?
[As for the hounds, she shrugs.] I see. [And has no idea what a Chain is, but... kind of assumes it's literally just a chain or something.]

.. Ah, you must mean the Phantomhive manor. I'm not actually a part of that household, though I can see how easy it would be to assume that I am.
[ his mouth quirks. ] --Yes, something like that. I didn't know there was a 'type', though.

'It is rarely accurate when any creature is deemed a monster,' says Oscar. [The python is in heavy loops around Snake's neck, flicking his tongue at the camera.]

That's true. Unfortunately, people don't often seem to understand that. If someone is different in some way, it's usually enough to consider them monstrous. [ he offers a polite little nod. ] Good afternoon, Oscar, Snake.

'It is human nature. Disgustingly so,' says Keats. [The snake that eases onto Snake's shoulder is dark in color, flicking its tail around angrily.] 'Snake had little to do with humans for that same reason not too long ago. However, things have changed. Regrettable as that is.'
[A small bow of his head.] Good afternoon, Master Leo.

[ a bright smile toward snake, the gold shifting in his gaze again. ]
Isn't that so, Snake? You seem to have many friends here.
