He was questioning the first voice to begin with but.. the second one calling his brother's name. Was something wrong with Leo? No, no...
Leo had returned to Siren's Port but something didn't seem right. Something crawled beneath Elliot's skin and it began eating at him.

he can't respond at first-- not for a long time. instead, he sits there on the bed that fang had chosen for him, curled around his nv, watching and listening to that short message again and again. at the very first, he's numb, staring down at that familiar, beloved sight with shock still leaving him blank. this is-- elliot. this is his master, whom he thought he'd never ever see again. he doesn't deserve to see him again, but it makes him so happy that he's alive and well.
but if he's happy-- why does his chest hurt like he's dying? moisture rolls down his face, blurring his vision and leaving something like a rock in his throat, choking him.
elliot, it's elliot. tears turn to sobs, and for a few moments, he's nothing more than some young, horribly broken boy who misses the only person in the world he'd ( ... )
