Yeah, it's really happening, but it's different from the few 'science fiction' movies that I've seen.

There's really not that much to explore if you're used to travelling the world, though.

Sorry, I was using this more like a notebook ... I had been told other people could read this, but I didn't realize --

There isn't?

Well, that's all right ... though, this city is actually a lot bigger than what I'm used to anyway. It'd be about traveling the world for me.

The NV may not have time travel capabilities, but you may have experienced it regardless. You have traveled through time before?

Exploring is well and good, however I would caution you to confine your exploration to the daylight hours.

What? Oh, no... something like that would be impossible, wouldn't it? I just meant that it looked like it could have that ability.

Because of the Darkness? I'm ... not sure what to make of that...

It is not impossible at all, in truth. Many here have been drawn from drastically different points in time, from centuries in the past to just as far in the future. What is the year, where you are from?

The Darkness is quite real, I am sorry to say. There are those that brave it, but it is dangerous even when one is well-prepared.

2001. I guess, I have to accept it since they say that it is 2011. Are you also from another time?

I'd rather not put myself in such a dangerous situation... I guess it'd be best if I stay in at night. Thank you for worrying about me.

If you go exploring, make sure to be inside by dark. Monsters come out after the sirens go off.

Wow, this thing has video, too? This really does seem like a sci-fi movie.

Oh, yes, I've been told of this...

Sounds like it really is a hassle if everyone's so worried about it...

I guess you could say this is really like a sci-fi movie. Just from what I've heard it is dangerous. The monsters are dangerous and unless you know how to handle yourself in a fight it's recommended you don't go out after the sirens go off.

My name is Takuto, by the way. Takuto Hasegawa.

The NV is different for every person. It's only use to connect to people on the network. I haven't seen an NV with any other properties.

I know you just arrived in the port, but it might be a good idea to get a job in the next few weeks. Newcomers are only allowed to live in the starter apartments for a month, I believe.

Thank you.

A job, huh? I don't really know ... what it is that I could do... I guess with a city this big it shouldn't be too hard to find a place to work, right?

You're welcome.

There's many different jobs in Siren's Port. Actually, there's some openings at the Lion's Gate, where I work. At least, last I checked there was. I'm not sure what work you would be good at, though.

I'm good with my hands. I am not terrible at making jewelry and the like... I guess I could try to get a job at a jewelry store.

...Do you still feel unwell?

A bit.

I can't say it's something that I've felt before... [Traveling through time didn't give him this much trouble.] ... but I'm sure that I'll be all right.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry you.

[ Worry him...]

If you were informed by a greeter, I advise you to not push yourself into exploring until you feel better.

I guess that is probably best... I'm told there is a map in this NV. This city is really big, isn't it? Bigger than anything that I've been in, anyway. I think.

Is it easy to get lost?
