[Before she puts the video feed on her book, she frowns at the post she sees from Rabbit. He's asking some very good, and pointed, questions. What strikes her hardest is his homesickness. She's been feeling it too, of course, but Alice's vision is far more skewed now. Wonderland bleeds into her reality on a regular basis, but he can't see that. Only she can.

It's all right, Alice. I miss it, but mostly I'm just-- worried, I suppose. And you'd think after years and years of taking trips into the real world, I'd be accustomed to the way things are done here.
Do you think so? [ a pause, head tilting. ] .. The man in the bat-suit seems healthy, but isn't it rather mad to think one is a bat in the first place?
