Getting through the crowd behind the waitress trying to show her to that empty spot isn't exactly fun, though. Small as she is she gets jostled around quite a bit, walking between people and weaving in and out of spaces between packed tables.
Once she makes it there, she flops down with a bit of a huff, adjusting her hat as it nearly got knocked off a few times before forcing a smile over to her table companion.]
Ah... sorry about this. This was the only seat left, apparently...

Today, however, he didn't care. He'd spent the better part of two hours with an ice packed over a not-so-bad-now shiner thanks to a contract that caught him a little unawares before realizing all he had in the fridge was...
Frozen peas.
Why frozen peas, he wasn't sure. So, eating out it was. Leon didn't care who he happened to be sitting with, as long as they didn't particularly bother him. And the coincidence happened to be the sudden pang of familiarity.
That... was a familiar face. Not that Leon took too long to particularly notice. A frown, and it was back to the diner's surprisingly interesting idea of what vegetarian meals were like.]
