Why, do you need a place to stay? After inviting Perona to stay with us, I'm not sure how keen my crew is on me inviting more people to stay with us. But I might be able to come up with something to have a cute young lady like yourself staying with us. Yohohoho!

Now you have me torn. You see ghosts terrify me, but mermaids... they really rather intrigue me. Is the spirit medium cute? And I might be able to get some mandarin oranges for you from my restaurant, although I'm not sure whether or not they're in season.

Ah yes, I remember back when I was in the tower apartments... that was back when I was salvaging musical instruments in the hopes that I could open my own musical store. You're right though, the place is a bit of a dump.

Hmm... that is quite a difficult situation that I am all to familiar with. Do you currently earn a steady income?

That's quite remarkable. So she's some form on incarnation of her then? Out of curiosity, what is the relationship between the two of you? If you don't mind me asking that is. Are you siblings? Lovers? Close friends? Old rivals? Someone you met at a bus stop? Your partner?

Well I hired this young man named Akito I believe, and... well I offered the job to some other people, but I'll kind of need them to report in if they hope to ever be counted as an employee.

It was nothing. [All he did was guard the place, prevent Luffy from destroying it, and not drink it into debt. All in a day's work for the swordsman. Really, there wasn't much Nami trusted him to do aside from the occasional heavy lifting.

You know it's the strangest thing, I have not seen Luffy the entire time I've been back, and it's been almost two months now. Do we just sleep on completely different hours or something? Do you think maybe he's simply avoiding me? Or do you think that maybe I'm simply missing something here.

[Brooke sipped his tea feeling rather concerned]

But to answer your question, I haven't exactly been able to run it by him yet. She's not exactly joining the Straw Hat Pirates or anything, so I don't think that it should be a problem with him. However, as my captain I will respect any decision he may have on the matter.
