009 [video] / backdated to yesterday late afternoon before sirens

[Though the NV is floating in the air at a good distance away from Raven, as usual, the camera is angled strangely upwards, revealing a lot of cracked darkening sky and the tops of a few buildings. It has the effect that only half of Raven's face can be seen, and most of it is shrouded in her hood. Her eyes are visible, as they're glowing dimly,

[He tilts his head a little at the screen. Looking a little stiff there, Raven. Sora's good at spotting this kind of stuff.]

[She gives a small, wan smile.]

[A barely audible sigh.] I dunno if 'busy' is the right word for it...

But you need somebody to come down for a quick fix? Looks kinda like you got hurt.

Sure can. Me, Donald and Goofy used to do a lot of fighting back home, so it's kind of a regular thing to patch each other up with a spell or two.

[A pause as he waits for a blip from his NV. Then...] Got it.

[Sora wastes no time in making his way to the next Sector. His method of speedy travel involves rooftop hopping to the address. He stops at the edge, gazing out onto the street for any sign of Raven.]

[She's inside the building, but senses his approach. Not wanting to move, she instead extends her powers, lifts up a piece of scrap metal nearby on the rooftop, and jabs it downwards twice before dropping it.]

[Sora jumps at first. He's not unaccustomed to inanimate objects springing to life, but he certainly didn't expect it here. Still, he manages to catch the bobbing motion in time before it clatters back to its original place.]

[He hops over the side, landing in front of the building with ease. He moves up to the door, planning to peer inside if it's open.]

Raven? That you?

Yes, it's me.

[The voice is rather tightly wound, and the door is open. He'll find her sitting like this, cross-legged, floating in the air, eyes closed, cloak shrouding her body -- which is rather badly bruised.]

[Sora isn't sure if it's just a product of having fought alongside so many partners, or if it's just an innate ability given to him by the keyblade but... he's always been pretty sharp when it came to discerning injuries. He can't see so much as feel it.]

What happened? How come you're all banged up?

[She'd looked a little sore over the feed, but he hadn't expected this much. What kinda telepath could do something like this?]

Basically, my friend was mind-controlled by the telepath and -- he packs a powerful punch.

[She starts to shrug, then squeezes her eyes shut.] Ow.
