So, yesterday was Father's Day. Even if I hadn't remembered about the holiday, all the posts here would have reminded me about it. Me and my father aren't particularly close. They say that family are the people you're stuck with, and you can choose your friends. In my experience, it's the friends that you are stuck with that you can truly rely on.

I definitely agree. Circumstances may have thrown my makeshift family together, but the fact that we stuck together past that is what proves what we really are.

It doesn't really surprise me. Destiny is something I'm definitely familiar with, though it isn't always as written in stone as people seem to think.
