[ not much progress has been made on his end since he arrived. Back home, he'd never really been able to hold down a solid job for long, a problem he'd always had - getting himself out there and working, interacting. Things hadn't changed much here. A department store might have a disposable camera, but that is probably not what you want.

Still, why the sudden interest in photography?

That's...actually a pretty good question! It's kind of hard to be a photographer without one, I'm guessing.
