[It's been about a week since he's been working at the Central Branch of the Siren's Port Library. As far as jobs go, it is a simple one and one he can find some appreciation in. Mostly because it one that leaves him in silence at least most of the time. Ulquiorra likes books as much as he quiet

That. Was actually kind of freaky. She's so startled by the display that she forgets where she's going and bumps into a bookshelf, sending a handful of books wobbling off the edge and towards the floor.
Yako has a brief, fleeting mental image of the same beam being pointed right at her head for the transgression. Before her mind can paint a picture of the inevitable conclusion, her body's self-preservation instincts kick in and she dives to catch them, arms outstretched. The books don't hit the ground, but they do hit her, and there's a rather pained-sounding thump as she belly-flops onto the floor. ]

I trust I won't have to ask you again to be quiet.
[The man choked out a reply as he backed away from Ulquiorra and quickly gathered his things. He watches the rule breaker leave from the corner of his and turns just in time to catch Yako as begins to recover from her sudden stumble. Of course, she ends up on the ground and he says nothing as each book takes it turn in crashing atop her. It isn't until the last has fallen that he moves and begins to lift them off her one by one.
This would be a good time to sigh, but he does not, he does however wonder, why humans had to be so troublesome?]

And proof that never leaving the house is a good idea if Arrancar have jobs now.
And proof that his stupid power really is a lot like theirs. He'd better not turn into a Hollow. That would be just the kind of thing this horrible city would do to him.]

[As a former friend of Aizen, he would receive a proper greeting.]
Orochimaru. Allow me to welcome you back to the city.

Thank you, Ulquiorra. [He forgoes the appellation he would usually apply for much the same reason.] How have things been?

Do you have a place to stay?
[He only mentions this because of his previous standing with Aizen. Nueva Las Noches had plenty of space available if he needed a place to stay temporarily.]
