If it wasn't for my citizen identification on me, as well as the files that came along with me, on my holobook, I don't think I would have gotten immediate placement at the medical center.

I don't know if the SPPD will higher straight into their police detective units. But you may as well try- speak with Officer Mayer, that's what I'd recommend.
It's a nickname. My first name is William. Went by Billy until I joined the force, and when I worked narcotics the officers in my division called me "Bigby". It caught on, and I've liked it enough to keep it.
I'd like to join, but my interest is in a position that reflects the years and the work I've put into earning my rank. I've done my time walking the beats.
I would suggest the police force here; they're in need of a few good men and women. Back home I worked for the FBI, but well. You have to start somewhere, here.
