[Souji is sitting in a chair in what most definitely looks like a starter apartment. He has a small smile on his face.]

Hello, my name is Souji Seta. I apologize for my last post. I was not yet aware of the situation entirely.

I hope that we can help each other out and I look forward to getting to know some of you.

[underachieves]

[He tries to think of a nice thing to say, he really does. The best he can manage, though, is:]

Yosuke's friend, huh.

[Video forever]

[leaderly]

[Souji blinks a couple of times.]

Yes. Are you another friend of his?

[underachieves]

Shikamaru.

[Not that he really expects Yosuke to have mentioned him.]

[leaderly]

It's nice to meet you Shikamaru. How long have you known Yosuke?

[underachieves]

...Three years.

[leaderly]

[He notices that the other was being very curt and wasn't exactly sure why. He's fairly certain that he has never spoken to Shikamaru before...He keeps his face neutral.]

I see. You were with him in the other city then.

[underachieves]

[He's analyzing. That makes him even more terse than usual.]

He told you about that?

[leaderly]

[His tone becomes completely neutral, stating things now matter-of-factly]

Briefly.

[underachieves]

...Yeah. That's where I met him. We were in school together.

[leaderly]

Oh okay. He didn't really give me any details on the previous place. Really only that he and his friends from there were brought here.

[underachieves]

Something to ask him about, I guess.

[leaderly]

[This comment piqued Souji's interest. There definitely seemed to be something there that he didn't understand just by the way Shikamaru was speaking to him. It might be best to leave this alone and ask Yosuke about it.

After all, it could have something to do with the last time he was "here", right? He didn't know what kind of territory he would be stepping into, getting into an in-depth conversation with this person.

He nods silently, face still neutral.]
