[The screen is fuzzy at first, and it's that which really keeps him listening, wondering why there's something about the rhythm of the words, the wry, pained sarcasm that seems so familiar. He doesn't exactly speak to a lot of Brits in Kansas, after all--well, not unless they work for LuthorCorp.

As the picture clears, though, a deep, acheing sort of dread settles in his chest. Brainiac. Here. It just can't be.
