Well, they're not infallible, and they're less useful than usual because so many more people have powers and can hide their emotions with that. But it still works to some extent on most people. But if there's deep malice, well -- during that incident, I definitely felt that. It was... impossible to miss. He's dangerous. But behaving himself, most of the time.
[Pause.]
Jubilee isn't nearly as dangerous. She's not as powerful, for starters, I'm pretty sure. And she doesn't have that same... weighty feeling to her emotions. [Pause.] She does have a kind of furtive feel to her sometimes. And -- [relucantly; but she's not going to lie to Batman about work] this is a guess -- but I think they took her in from being a petty thief, and she might sometimes still do stuff like that. But -- I mean, that's seriously not exactly worth bothering with in a place like this.
