I'd like to think they'd be a bit more mature by that age. People will always tend to surprise you though.

My students had already graduated from the Academy by the time they were placed with me. Honing their combat skills, mostly, it was a time of war.

Practical skills, on the field. We're shinobi, it was my job to ensure they knew what that meant and how to take care of themselves, along with each other.
