Griffin was starting to figure out that he left his luck back in the world where everyone wanted to kill him.
He really didn't want to deal with anything related to Gabriel right then. So when Anna approaches him, he tries to work his way out of the conversation.
That earns him being knocked off his feet and into a neon light sign which shocks the hell out of him. Griffin falls on his ass, shaking his head wildly to regain composure. So much for only being electrocuted by Paladins.]
