Newcomer Political Party Things
Hey everyone, Amy here! I have a few things about the Newcomer Political Party that I need to talk to everyone about, so I hope you will all bear with me for a moment!
The first item on our agenda is the NPP will be holding an open forum meeting at the Newcomer Community Center on Friday, November 18th. Like I said, it's an open forum, which means that everyone and anyone can come to the meeting and talk to the board of the NPP. You can raise concerns that your character might have, or make suggestions about something the NPP could help in, or anything that your character might want to talk about to the community at large. This log will be split up into sections like our last one was done, so I hope everyone can have their character attend and bring up any topics they think might be needed!
And for everyone on the board of the NPP, we expect you there! Daedalus Yumeno, Re-l Mayer, Diego Armando, Michael Xavier, Byakuya Kuchiki, Franziska von Karma, Yako Katsuragi, Lee Chaolan, and Bruce Wayne, I am pinging all of you guys!
The second thing I want to talk to everyone about is also a big event that we have planned, coming up in December! The NPP is going to throw a Silent Auction sometime in December to help raise money for the NPP and it's subsequent proactive dealings that it has around the city. The money will be used to help out their projects, such as helping out people in the poor sectors, helping Newcomers with their businesses and protection from the Darkness (Darkness proofing), and other such things like cleaning up the Starter Apartments.
This fundraiser will also have a party after the auction at the Newcomer Community Center. Everyone will be invited to the auction and the party! We want every Newcomer to come and bid, and it doesn't matter if you're poor or rich, it all goes to help a good cause.
What we need from all the Newcomers are things to auction off! Everyone can donate a few things (the maximum amount of objects and services will be two from each character), and everyone can either donate an item, or donate a service. Items would be like gift certificates, a bottle of wine, collectables, any item you can think of, and services would be like free accounting services, a night of cooking dinner, or cleaning someone's apartment. These are all just examples, your character can donate whatever they want to, or whatever they think someone will bid on! HERE are some auction ideas!
As of right now, we're also looking for different Newcomer businesses to donate gift baskets of some kind, or gift certificates for goods. We are also limiting how many people can offer up a "date" as their service, so please, try to come up with something different that we can offer!
