IT'S PARTY TIME
S'up, SP! It's RW again, your resident Xigbar, with an update on the upcoming Fundraiser/Soiree with the Xino E. Mao Corporation! The initial plot proposal is here, but I've hashed out a few more details for those characters interested in attending!
THE LOWDOWN
- The party will be on Saturday, August 13th, 2011 and it will start at 5:30 PM. The fun will last until the wee hours of the morning. Anyone who needs a way home before morning sirens will be granted an escort for protection or a trip home via Darkness Corridor.
- The event will take place at the White Star Hotel in the Underground Mall. Formal dress attire is a must!
- In addition to free food, music, dancing, and a classy-with-a-hint-of-sleaze atmosphere, there will be a few activities for characters to take part in! If your character has a taste for rare artifacts, art, and the occasional expensive trinket, they will definitely want to check out the auction. There will also be some gambling so bring your spare change and billfolds! All general donations are welcome, of course, but the main event of the evening will be the Bid-For-A-Date Event starting around 9 PM! If you would like your character to participate in this event (whether as a bidder or someone to be bid for), comment here. This will be purely voluntary (e.g. there will be no slaves involved), but if you think your character would sign someone else up for this, that is also fine! If you'd like to pre-arrange who gets to go with who on a date, feel free to decide that here as well!

- All funds raised during this event will go towards charity projects in Sectors 9 & 10 so the event is 100% legit because PR for AGI is their job. There will be a news post announcing the event sometime this week, followed up by a post by Xigbar. The log will go up on the 12th, probably, to give people plenty of time to tag around and have fun. Also, since this is open to EVERYONE, I am hoping for lots of cross-canon CR and general awesomeness all around!
