1. Before the Meeting

Himawari was able to get the place open and set up about a half an hour before everything was to start. For those who get there early and wish to mingle or meet others there are drinks and snacks in the meeting hall with chairs and tables to sit at. Himawari has offered people to gather information from the tables as soon as they like, so they may read through it all and prepare questions. Otherwise... feel free to chat about with others who have shown up.

[Timcanpy gives her another nuzzle for that comment, and Allen only grows more flustered.]

Ah, yes, he's a bit of a--

- Wait, you know him? [realization!]

He fluttered into my apartment one day and was kind enough to keep me company for a bit. I fed him some of my lunch.

... He... didn't beg, did he? Or bother you?

[she sounded happy enough, but Allen was still worried. Timcanpy seemed to be giving him a brief "get of here, you're cramping my style" glare, but then the golem was back to quietly making itself at home in Oruha's hair.]

[excuse him while he suddenly looks like someone stabbed him in the gut and then twisted the knife. funny enough, Timcanpy also takes this moment to duck behind Oruha.]

It's Allen, isn't it? I think I still have your NV details somewhere. I'll give you a call if he comes around again, though I've moved apartments since he visited.

- N-no! [and a look back up to Oruha, thoroughly embarrassed.] Well, ah. I hope you have good luck with greeting, if you do end up doing it. Do you think you'd let it take over singing, though--h?

[small flinch as the golem tugged on his collar again, but he's smiling through it.]

[she tries to stifle a giggle at their antics, but it's no use - one breaks through. still, she smiles warmly at the both of them]

I was thinking of helping out on my free days, actually, not necessarily as a Greeter. Himawari said I could.

-- R-really? [he freezes while pulling the golem away by the tail, blinking somewhat comically.] To patrol the area and such...?

Oh no, I'd only be a liability if I tried that. I couldn't fight my way out of a paper bag.

More like talking with Newcomers to give them information if needed, maybe help with some of the paperwork that the Greeters have to do. Things like that.
