[ He's seen Clark around the place often enough, and Bruce is rather amused just how closely their circles seem to cross- though, given the limited amount of prominent Newcomers in Port, it might only be expected. Still, Clark's working- in more ways than one, because who better to recognize that Superman is listening in for bombs and threats than Batman, who is doing the same?

Lois is with him. Which is, he supposes, a good thing- and also makes it clear that the Lane-Kent journalism team are still going strong. Good.

It's halfway through the party that he finally slides over to Clark. ]

Well that really depends, doesn't it? Check your left pocket. It's new tech--I found it under one of the desks. A remotely directed microphone, I think.

[He broke into a big, bright grin, completely foreign to the actual conversation they were having, but enough to break up anyone's suspicions that they were having a serious conversation.]

At the very least it might be useful to you.

He keeps a grin on his face, leaning a little more into Clark, making the entire scene different from the outside so people won't realize what they're actually talking about. ]
