Where: Sector 5 Fairgrounds (Point 13). A few acres of stepping back in time!
Summary: Siren's Port hosts a Renaissance Fair, a spring festival filled with historical reinactments, fun and fantasy elements.

[Her voice is still kind of high, but she manages to calm herself... some]

I'm going to the Renaissance Fair, of course!

[He actually has to pause after hearing that scolding. Hinamori. Damn it, she sounds exactly like Hinamori when she's lecturing him about "sneaking up" on her. But he recovers quickly.] You do.

[And there's a lifted eyebrow at her proclamation.] For that, you're risking further injury.

[Having calmed herself down, she grins]

Oh, this is nothing! Besides, it's the Renaissance Fair! I can't miss it!

[Okay, she can quit being a reminder at any time, now. Going straight from a scolding to a bright smile. Honestly. Though he'll concede to himself and himself alone that it's probably only bothering him so much because Hinamori's birthday is coming up.]

[That thought causes him to briefly look away, the smallest of bit of somberness in his eyes, before collecting himself.] It won't stay "nothing" if you're going to be this hard on it. You'll be on your feet all day there. It hardly seems worth it.

[Maya pauses a little at his glance away, (there's something on his mind) but then continues as if nothing happened]

It's totally worth it! Do you know what kind of delicious food is waiting there for me?

[But . . . being social. And being social while injured is really a foreign concept to him. He doesn't get how that works. If he's hurt, he gets crankier.]

I'm aware of what's on the schedule. [He reads the newsfeed pretty much every day, after all. Part of him is honestly intrigued by the combat events, but not enough to get him to go there on his own.]

[Meanwhile, Maya is just cheerful and annoying no matter what]

So that means you're coming along, right? [He's a little grumpier than usual, she's noticing, which means he's got to be cheered up]
