Who: Ocelot and Liquid
When: October 7th, daylight
Where: Various places
Summary: Ocelot helps Liquid scout places out for work.
Warnings: None, yet, except that some of the places he goes to might not be... normal.
The streets of Siren's Port were winding and stretched for long distances.
It was oddly quiet, that day. The streets near the spot Liquid had chosen to wait for Ocelot were practically empty; the occasional person passed by, but on the whole, it was quiet. He supposed a lot of people were at work or school.
He was waiting for Ocelot, absent-mindedly wondering if Ocelot had been serious about the job he'd suggested. It wasn't as if Liquid would have minded. He had little morals on that front - and he was far from shy. Either way, he'd find out soon. It might have been easier to wait at Outer Heaven, but Outer Heaven had seemed sombre and bleak for some time now. Despite that, he wanted to keep it running. For the young ones that stayed, and for Miller, who was probably hardest hit by Big Boss leaving. He wasn't too concerned about money for himself. Kadaj was a bad influence on that front and as he'd found out from his time shopping with Amalthea, the storekeepers were often easily intimidated. For now, he wanted to help them. And if Outer Heaven caved, as he suspected it might without Big Boss at its head, so be it. More for him, not that he had any idea what he'd even spend money on. Liquid was not a man who cared about possessions.
So he waited.
Ocelot would show up soon. He was sure of it.
