I really enjoyed In Great Waters, I thought it had a really fresh approach to what is, at bottom, a not unusual plot. And the writing--and the attention to detail in it--were quite lovely.

Agreed that the plot isn't terribly unusual (for Anne, either--my review comments only upon Henry's share). It's done up well, however; I for one didn't notice at first. :) As you say, the writing is lovely.
