Remember this discussion about the frequency of feeding for the human-eating vampires? Well, I finally found my canon reference. I knew my version wasn't that far off base. I knew it!

Anyway, here it is. It's in, of all places, the section I know best--Eclipse chapter 13.

I totally remembered reading that and thinking, "A few times a day?" Yeah, it was like Bella said in Breaking Dawn. The thirst didn't go away but was tamped down. And she felt 'sloshy'. I imagine that it would take a while to process the blood, maybe a few hours like humans, and then there would be no real reason to deny the thirst other than trying to keep a low profile. Since that isn't a huge deal down South I figured they were eating pretty frequently ( ... )

Oh just wait, dear, just wait!!!! "In Her Power" is the fic that shows Maria starving Jasper as punishment. That I've already written, but was criticized by one person for my timing. But I think this quote proves that reader wrong. But, to the point, just wait till the end of the series for what you're talking about. Oh yes, Jasper starts to get it confused in his head. It feels like torture to him having to wait, even when it is for a good reason. When he's asked to hold off feeding all together in MS . . . he's going to have flashbacks. Poor Jazz.

Oh, I'm worried that I'll end up horridly impatient.

I don't think you're timing is bad at all. Now, a long time without feeding after having lived with the Cullens for 60 years wouldn't be like torture. A long time without feeding after feeding every day next to Maria would have to be horrible. I'm going to start reading now. ;)

Hey. It's good to hear from you. I'm glad you're considering reading more of my stories. You have plenty of time to catch up, because I've had writers' block and no time to write fic recently.

Me, not a whole lot, I have a friend that has gotten me back into my Jasper well Jackson obsession again, it was leaning toward Peter for awhile, but she gave me a link to him on Criminal Minds and then to his movie S Darko and just videos of him and 100 Monkeys and wow, you know what that can do to a girl. LOL

I'm still completely Jasper obsessed. I love the character. But I'm not into the actor at all anymore. It's explained here. I don't want to talk about it, but you should know.

Luckily there is still plenty of fun to be had with Twilight and Jasper even without the movies. Writing fanfic has always been my favorite part of fandom, and now role playing is great, too. Jasper is just a perfect character for me to write and explore.
