AAHHHH, I've been wanting to comment on this for two days, but I don't get to catch up on my Lost until Fridays! (I have to work on Wednesdays, and so does my dad, but he records it and then we watch them together on the weekend.)
Firstly: Me no likey Sawyer and Juliet. Noooo. It just seemed like it came out of nowhere, y'know? He was angsting after Kate and then, suddenly, three years later he's with Juliet. Why? He's still trying to track down Locke, isn't he? He's SUCH a liar - HE'S NOT OVER HER!
I think he was probably just so scared and sad there for a while. Yes, Sawyer hides it well, but that whole time jumping thing had to be pretty traumatic. It probably brought them closer as friends. And then they were alone in a confusing time . . . I could see it.
I do really like Sawyer/Kate, though, so I'm torn. Kate is sexier with him, but Juliet seems healthier for him. I guess I'll just have to see what happens.
Yeah, she might be better for him, but then she's got Jack as well, who is also kinda-sorta Kate's man now, and - y'know what, I think you summed it up best with the "Love Tic-Tac-Toe" idea. I have a low tolerance for love triangles at the best of times, but this is just ridiculous.
