Cat cries a little, Jacky cries a lot

So I went over to Tiffy's house to pick a kitten. Momo (mama cat) greeted me at the door. I played with them a little bit, to maybe see which one would be more comfortable with me. I picked up one, and I think I felt a peenie-weenie~really wanted a girl, so I picked the one that squirmed least when I held it, and decided it would be the one for me ( Read more... )

Cats sleep tons cuz they're lazy asses -o- lol

My dog cried for weeks if we left her downstairs or at home alone. @__@ My mom had to sleep in the living room with her in a box for a week for her to get over that one. lol

:D Just like me! LOL, she's sleeping again now, after waking up to play a few minutes. Is it normal for them to just sleep directly on their face? XD Last time she slept, she had her face mashed into the carpet. Now she's twitching. How do you know if they get too cold?

Awww! LOL, cute lil' puppy.

ohsnap, now I'm worried about going to work on Saturday. I hope she doesn't freak out too much :o.

Awww...all those things you described are natural any time a kitten or even an adult cat, has a change of scenery. My cat was absolutely petrified when I moved back home (both from the move and also because of my mom's cat being a territorial bitch just to amplify it), that I was in tears constantly for the first week, and begged my ex to take her back because I thought she was miserable, she was crying and hiding constantly, but then she got over it.

As soon as she's explored all her new surrounded and gets used to them, she'll be just fine. Cats are fine as solitary creatures, and will care much less than you do when you're not with them. It's nice if they want to be around you, but you may find it infrequent. XD

Oh, and they're also very clean creatures, so I wouldn't worry about her not finding the litter box, they always seem to know how to find it. :P ( ... )

WHEW! That's a relief. I've been so scared and worried that I haven't even been to sleep yet because I'm watching her like a hawk. Everything in my room looks like a deathtrap now, lol. And I have to work on Saturday, and I was worried about just leaving her here (with my mom), but I guess she'll be fine, huh?

Yeah, she found and used the litter box all by herself! I was so proud...until I smelled it. X-x Haha

I bet you can tell I'm a noob, LOL. Thanks! ^__^
