I just had to read it again when I saw your lovely Author's Note about me and LRO. I'm so very proud of you for taking a chance and writing this, Anne. You did a beautiful job creating such tension and incredible angst. I felt every emotion coursing through our boys in this scene.

You really did create more than an a little ficlet here. I'm glad you are thinking of continuing it. Or at least writing part 2, where they end up with their HEA. I mean, the party is going back to the hotel, after all. Reid can slip away to get some 'ice', or Luke can run into him as he's putting his tray out in the hallway. The possibilities are endless! ;)

I think "Unbreak My Heart" is a wonderful inspiration for part 2!! YAY! \o/
