i'm glad to hear that your mom is recovering well. i'm sure in a few days when the drain is removed she'll feel a lot better too. chemo does suck, immensely, but she'll be able to figure out when her really bad days are, when the crappy days are, and when her good days are after she's on it for a bit. it kinda helps to know.

Get marijuana for her. Seriously. It's the best anti-nausea drug existing. She's probably going to need it for the chemo.

I don't think there's a medical marijuana initiative in your state, but even if there isn't, get her some pot.
