Ugh, you liked ADV 300? As an ad major I find that class to be somewhat of an embarrassment to my department. Oh well, glad you got something out of it.

Who did you take pop culture with?

well, it was the only ADV class i ever got to take, since i wasn't majoring in it. some days were totally worthless, but overall i liked it.

i had mastronardi for pop culture. she was so nuts. all the talk about her freaking dog, who was SO STINKING CUTE BY THE WAY. i went to her office to pick up an exam and the dog was there and AWWWWWWWWWW cute puppy. :)

I tried taing ENGL 245 last semester. Jed Esty taught it and, while I thought he was a pretty cool guy and the material was interesting enough, my load was heavy and I had to drop it. I'll try it again next semester.

But I did have an English class with a Marc Thompson. But I know there are two Marc Thompsons and mine wouldn't exactly be described as a "fucking riot." Shame, you made him sound like a pretty fun prof.

And congratulations on graduation. It's definitely a major accomplishment and you should be very proud. Enjoy your summer!

that's why you have to make sure you take the course with marc CHRISTIAN thompson - mid-30's black dude who sweats almost as much as he swears. i had him for english 201 as well as 245...and he was the only thing that made that class worth going to at all.

thank you! it still hasn't sunk in yet, i imagine it'll knock me on my ass in august, though. :)

Ugh, ADV 300. May a plague be placed upon Steve Hall and his project assignment techniques. I now know that if I were ever to work in advertising, I would suck at it, horribly.

You must have had a better TA for CHLH 206 than I did. I got an A in the class, but learned nothing from the TA. The stuff I learned was interesting, but actually going to class was a waste of my time.

i took it my...sohpomore year, i think. and my TA kind of reminded me of an elementary school teacher. she'd like, stand on the stage in foellinger and yell at us to be quiet and would do the "i can wait for you all to stop talking..." deal. kind of hilarious.

but she also showed us "i dream of jenna" and talked about tittyfucking and THAT is just damn entertaining.

Oh, and hey, what does it say about my education here that I don't think I *have* ten favorite classes? I'd be hard pressed to find *two* favorite classes.

maybe you should've had a "funner" major. speechcom was awesome, you got to use the shit you learned in class right away and the teachers were really engaging and the people i had classes with were fun, SMART, smartassed people.

i'd do it again the exact same way if i could.
