Please tell me you are okay. I do know of at least 1 friend in Australia and on the east coast there. I think she's lower down but I'm not entirely sure. twigsandgrace , you are in Queensland. Are you okay?!

I pray that you are okay and I'm worried about those missing. Not only because it could be a pal I know.

I'm worried too. One of my flist is from Queensland. Naturally haven't heard anything from her. Not unusual for her to not post on LJ often, but yeah considering the devastation, worried and really hope she and everyone else effected will be safe.

Exactly right. I heard about this the day after and I was so stunned. I don't watch the news often and so sometimes I'm completely out of the loop.

I'm truly worried and while it is possible they can't get on the net, I'm hoping they will shout out soon.

I've been watching the news for the past week. Just horrific! My heart goes out to all those in the area. Just awfulawfulawful!

Yeah, with Fair, I'm trying to be positive and knowing she doesn't get on often taking that into account plus she might not be able to get online. But yeah, would lvoe to hear from her to know she is okay.

That is what I'm thinking with twigs. She rarely posts as it is but she's over there. Scary.

hi hi! i'm totally safe and fine and damp but safe. i'm actually higher than the major flooding, but i have friends down in brisbane. luckily they haven't had to evacuate, but things aren't fun for them right now.
i did a minor update clearing some stuff up. will post more when i'm at home.
